Christmas Friends

Hi,

Well I have not done my blog for a while,  due to my daughter moving back home. The craft room I planed has gone back to being a bedroom .......well nearly.

I did not reliase that I had so much craft stuff and she had so many shoes ......

I think the shoes are wining....

Any way the card below is for a friend at work

The stamp is a from the winter cheer rubber stamp collection and is called cold hands, warm heart

the die is from memory box Tivoli snowflake and the flower is from wild orchid craft

Well I decided to do the sketch Saturday, the sketch for this week is above and my card for it is below

The whimpsy stamp is called Silver Fairy  and she is just lovely and saw her first on a blog that I follow called Scrap Bitz and just had to buy the stamp! 

The papers are by  Bo Bunny a gift of love which is from my stash and the flowers are from wild orchid craft.

Hats or Flowers

Well I decided to entr The Squirrel and The Fox challenge Hats or Flowers.


The problem we had was to photograph the card lol, even with the flash, we keep getting a black shadow on the bottom of the photograph, anyway here is the result that I settled on in the end.

The stamp was from  LOTV called Emma's Shoes ,I do love LOTV stamps and can not wait for 10/11/12, as there are some new ones are due out. Just have to get them passed hubby lol (pity he sometimes looks at this blog!)

Steph and Ian's wedding

Well I am back from a family wedding and a holiday in Folkestone and Yorkshire.....it's such a shame when you have to go back to work.....

I did a gold and white theme for the card which I think went well with her colour theme for her wedding.

The stamp was a digi stamp which I have used before under the title wedding card the punch is a Martha Stewart one, that I have in my crafting stash.

One for the girls

Well here is another card that I have done today

The stamp I got from Quixotic papers and is the greeting farm blush barbette, I just love her hair in this one.  Both the paper and ribbon is from my stash.

Good Luck

Well I am back from a holiday, and all rested and ready to do some more card making, the first card I made was a good luck card !

My niece is going to Ireland to enter a twirling competition and she mentioned she has never had a good luck card .......well Auntie Donna to the rescue lol....

I used cheerleader tilda from magnolia stamps which I got from craftsulove and the flowered paper is from a pad called spring flowers by craft-us. The punch is a Maratha Stewart one that was in my craft box.

Well I did these cards in this colour scheme because of a card challenge, but I was too late lol for that challenge.


But the good news is I found another challenge to enter in!

This new challenge I found instead, but with less than 50 minutes to go!

let it snow

Why is it the weekend goes so fast and it back to work tomorrow noooooooooo.

I was on holiday the end of September down in beautiful Cornwall.
While there I did some colouring in the evening.
Today I made the cards and  is the first one is this card.

The stamp use is LOTV christmas dance, the snowflakes using martha stewart punch and  the paper is from my stash .

I have enter this into the following challenge

In May we went on holiday in Shropshire and stay at cottage, left my jacket there..... thought it was lost and this week Betty Lou posted it back to me, just in time for my next walking holiday.The cottage was an old sheep hatch that had been modernized. It had a  theme of  sheep running through the cottage I made the card to say thank you (ewe) lol.

the digi stamp is called love ewe and the paper is magnolia , the card is simple but I like it

My Third Challenge Card

I decided to enter the wild orchid challenge,

The stamp is the three little angels from LOTV and the card is from my stash. I coloured using my copic pens and the wings are coloured with my new sakura gel pen. The Snow flakes are made with a Martha Stewart Punch and the roses are from wild orchid crafts.

Well daughter wanted me to do a card for a wedding that she is going to, the card must have a silver theme ...... so here's then result....

I used the wedding dance "stamp" which is digi stamps , paper from my stash, the moonstone brad's are from wild orchid craft and the punch was a EK one .

Well hello again,

here is yet another card for you using the same stamp but in blues and browns . This is for a challenge and I think the colours work well on this Christmas card.

The stamp is as before is fishing buddies from LOTV and the flowers are from wild orchard, paper from stamping up.

A Dull Day

Well I have been thinking about Christmas cards.

So when I got up this morning I went to the local craft shop as I want a snowflake punch .......

What do I find?

The shop was closed due emergency electrical works nnnnnnooooo!

So I had to rethink my card, and this result

The stamp is fishing buddies from LOTV, the paper is from stamping up and the flowers are from wild orchid crafts.

Lee's Christmas Card

Well Lee said that he would see his Christmas card on my blog first, so lets see how long it will take him to say something lol....

The stamp is from Make it Crafty- Aussie Santa which I got from Quixotic Paperie and the papers are the Authentique-6x6 wonder .... I used copic pens and the punch is a Martha Stewart .

 I also thought of entering this card into challenge!!!!

This will be the first time I have entered any Internet challenge, so if my linking works I will be in the challenge.....

Congratulations Luke

Well my nephew Luke got his GCSE results on last Thursday and he did very well, we are all proud of him.


So to celebrate I made this card for him.

Here is Charlotte in her close up.

The stamp which I used was Make It Crafty -Miss Charlotte and the paper is Authnentique 6x6 Wonder which I got from Quixotic Paperie, The congratulation stamp is old wooden stamp that I had for years from craft shop that no longer exists.....



Mistake or not?

You have great idea, then things go wrong, so you start again .

I decided to use stamp Mama's Purse Peeker by Elisabeth Bell for SCACD which I brought from Quixotic paperie , she was coloured in with Copic pens. Then I decided to cut her out using x-cut dielicious nestling.

                 

As you see, when I embossed it, it went wrong, so had to stamp again, this time I did not do the embossed bit......

Here is the final result

I was upset with the one I did earlier, and then my husband said could I not cover it up?, so like  all good crafter's I covered up my mistake and this is the result, which I am very happy with.

Hair Colours

While on holiday in Cornwall, it rained and stamping and colouring called me lol .

I stamped Fleur Anya from the greeting farm 5 times, to practice doing hair, I did different coloured hairs and here are the results.

My favorite is Anya in the green dress.

The copic colours I used for the hair are E42, E43 and Y23,

 I like this coloued haira lot so that I used it three times

I need close up

After looking at my blog online, I realised that I needed some close ups of my cards.

My first post

Hi to all,

That a bit of a laugh as I have no followers but I thought I would start a blog to show my cards.

 I have made cards on and off for years but only started using copic pens this year. Today I made two cards, the first card is a get well card .... the stamp is from Lili of the Valley and is called little nurse.

The other card also uses a stamp from Lili of the Valley ltd and is called Christmas Dance... this is from their latest collection . So this is the first Christmas card of 2011
